This year over 5.63 lakh students have registered for the Delhi University which is the highest record in last years.A total of near 2 lakh students have applied for the Post graduate courses like Ph.D & M.Phil.

There was a meeting of the Admission Group Members and the Principal in which the discussion was held for the release date of the cutoff of 2020 for Delhi University.Du decided to they will wait until the final result of Improvement marks's Result come.This is good news for the students who are waiting for the result of Improvement marks.

Du Cutoff Date 

The tentative date for the Du cut-off is expected to be in 2nd week that is 12th-14th of October 2020.

Du has allow to make some changes in their application form for students who has applied for Under Graduation.Any student filled the Du form with an error or some other personal mistakes can be apply for online correction through Du Official website. Du has open this portal till 5 October 2020 for some updates.

This changes is valid for one time submission.After submission the application for any changes you will not able to re-correction or any changes in the application.

Du Cut-Off Procedure 


Every year CBSE & ICSE Board after their respective result, they come all together and discuss among all the professor & decide the cutoff.It's rough & estimated, not any strict rule or regulation for Cutoff.Here are the some basis for estimated Cutoff :
  1. The average result of the CBSE & ICSE Board
  2. Total number of students have applied for any particular course in Delhi University.
  3. Last year cut offs.

How Much % Cut Offs Increases Any Year?

In all the major Delhi University , their Cut-off will increase only by 0.25% to 0.75% rate.In some normal colleges it will increase 1-2%.
