RESERVATION AND STABILITY OF POSTS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES:
Reservation for scheduled castes (SC)/ Schedule tribes (ST)/ other backward classes (OBC)/Economically weaker Sections (EWS) and persons with Disability (PWD) etc would be determined and communicated by the Indenting Ministers/ Departments/ Organisations, as per extant government Orders.
Junior Engineer being a group 'B' post, there is no reservation for the Ex-serviceman (ESM) Category, However, benefit of age-relaxation will be admissible to ESM Candidates, as per extant Govt. Orders.
However, he/she can avail of the benefit of reservation as ex-serviceman for subsequent employment if he/she immediately after joining civil employment, given self declaration undertaking to the concerned employer about the date-wise details of aplication for various vacancies for which he/she applied the initial civil employment as mentioned in the OM No. 36034/1/2014-Estt (Res) dated 14th August 2014 issued by Dop&T.
