Cabinet approves NRA, for Single Entrance exam for governments Jobs
The pattern of the recruitment process for governments jobs, a huge draw among the youth for the security they offer. The move will also help to put in place a single national exam for all government jobs at a time.
On this Wednesday, The union cabinet approved setting up of a National recruitment Agency (NRA) to Carry out a National Entrance exam for non-gazetted Vacancies in the both Central govt department, and Public sector banks.
In every year this agency will conduct the single entrance exam for ten of thousands of positions that the government advertises the several exams will be conducted by different recruitment agencies including some by union public service commission (UPSC). The UPSC, however, will continue to deal with top administrative exams, including the civil service exams.
NRA will be a multi-agency body to encompass the first level test currently conducted by agencies like staff selection Commissions (SSC) the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and the institute of banking service personnel (IBPS). This is also expected that other recruitment agencies in the Central government would adopt the Central eligibility test (CET), a Cabinet Statement Said.
"Further, it would be open for all the agencies in the public as well as private domain to adopt it if they so choose. This would be helpful for such organizations in saving costs and time spent on recruitment.
The establishment of the NRA will streamline the recruitment process for governments jobs, This more will also help to put in place a single national exam for all the government jobs at a time.
Presently due to the Coronavirus pandemic, In India, the International labour Organisation and the Asian Development Bank said in a report on 18 August. The report underlined that the Unemployment rate among the youngsters below the age of 25 may touch 32.5% in 2020.
The National Recruitment Agency will prove to be a boon of crores of youngsters. Through the common Eligibility Test, This policy will save precious time as well as resources of the aspirants Candidates.
Currently, around 25 million aspirants sit for government jobs. every year. Any Organisations like SSC, IBPS, RRBs taking a share of this burden.
The Cabinet also said the national entrance will be conducted in various languages each for the three levels of graduate higher secondary (12th pass) and the matriculate (10th pass) Candidates.
Through, this Agency will help to save the precious time and the resources of the Candidates.And aspirants will also feel tension free because only this one will give all the updates regarding the exams and recruitments of the governments jobs.
